Job Description

The Masonry Inspector will oversee and inspect masonry construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and building codes. This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong relationships with contractors and architects.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect masonry work in progress and ensure compliance with specified standards.
  • Document defects or issues and advise on corrective actions.
  • Attend project meetings to provide expert advice regarding masonry work.
  • Utilize inspection tools and equipment to assess material quality.
  • Assist in the development of processing documentation for regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in masonry inspection or construction
Technical Skills
  • Understanding of local building codes and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Soft Skills
  • Problem-solving
  • Team collaboration
Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Spanish: Intermediate
