Extraction Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Extraction Worker to join our team in maintaining and repairing roadways, sidewalks, and bridges. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of road conditions and report issues.
• Utilize machinery to repair and pave roads as required.
• Engage in the maintenance of tools and equipment used in construction tasks.
• Assist in traffic rerouting and public safety measures during projects.
• Participate in team safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations while on the job site.
• Help train new team members in the safe operation of equipment.
• Carry out manual labor tasks as needed to support road maintenance efforts.
• Maintain a positive and proactive attitude while working in varying weather conditions.
• Foster strong team collaboration to ensure project goals are met.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a vocational training program in construction or a related field preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in road construction or maintenance

Technical Skills

• GIS Mapping Software
• Traffic Control Setup

Languages

• English: Fluent
