Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Extraction Worker to join our team in maintaining and repairing roadways, sidewalks, and bridges. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently.
Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections of road conditions and report issues.
Utilize machinery to repair and pave roads as required.
Engage in the maintenance of tools and equipment used in construction tasks.
Assist in traffic rerouting and public safety measures during projects.
Participate in team safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety.
Adhere to all safety and health regulations while on the job site.
Help train new team members in the safe operation of equipment.
Carry out manual labor tasks as needed to support road maintenance efforts.
Maintain a positive and proactive attitude while working in varying weather conditions.
Foster strong team collaboration to ensure project goals are met.
Requirements
Education
Completion of a vocational training program in construction or a related field preferred
Experience
2-4 years of experience in road construction or maintenance
