Job Description

As a Funeral Home Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our funeral service operations, ensuring that our clients receive exemplary support during their time of mourning. Your role will include managing staff, coordinating funeral arrangements, and providing compassionate assistance to families.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all operational aspects of the funeral home.
  • Ensure that all services are delivered with compassion and professionalism.
  • Monitor and assess staff performance, providing feedback and training.
  • Manage client relationships and resolve any concerns promptly.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote services.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and manage compliance.
  • Participate in community events to promote services and support families.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Manage the scheduling of services and staff assignments.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and empathy within the staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is a plus
  • State-issued Funeral Director and Embalmer license
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role within funeral services
