Job Description

Join our team as a Sexual Assault Counselor, where you will play a crucial role in providing empathetic support and guidance to survivors of sexual assault. This position requires strong crisis management skills and the ability to work collaboratively within the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to survivors of sexual assault.
• Conduct screenings and assessments to determine client needs.
• Participate in outreach programs to educate the community on sexual violence issues.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources for survivors.
• Participate in staff meetings and case reviews to ensure quality care.
• Advocate for clients during medical and legal processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience working with survivors of trauma

Languages

• English: Fluent
