Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metal-Refining Furnace Operator to oversee vessel operations at our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of refining processes, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in metal refining and a passion for operating heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of metal refining furnaces, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Perform regular maintenance and adjustments on refining equipment.
• Monitor chemical processes and make adjustments as necessary.
• Document production logs and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Lead safety meetings and training sessions for team members.
• Assist in quality control to meet production standards.
• Work closely with the management team to improve operational practices.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience with hazardous materials is a plus.
