Job Description

The Profile Shaper Operator is responsible for setting up and operating profile shaping machines to ensure the production of high-quality components. This role involves closely monitoring the machines, making adjustments, and performing routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Setup profile shaping machines for various production tasks.
• Monitor operations and adjust machine settings as necessary.
• Conduct quality checks on products to maintain high standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical proficiency.
• Support team efforts in achieving daily production goals.
• Document and report machine output and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with other machinists and supervisors for optimal workflow.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in machine operation or related field

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in woodworking machinery operation
