Job Description

As an Oxyhydrogen Welder, you will be responsible for employing oxyhydrogen torches to skillfully weld and join metal components. Your expertise in operating welding equipment and interpreting blueprints will be crucial to our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute oxyhydrogen welding and cutting processes, adhering to strict quality controls.
  • Maintain a clean workspace, ensuring tools and materials are organized and properly stored.
  • Review welding specifications and follow detailed work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions as necessary.
  • Participate in quality control inspections and provide feedback on welding processes.
  • Train new employees on welding techniques and safety practices.
  • Document daily activities and report discrepancies to management.
  • Enhance welding skills and techniques through ongoing training.
  • Assist other team members to facilitate project completion.
  • Engage in safety meetings and contribute to a safe work environment.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a formal welding technician program
Experience
  • At least 2 years of professional welding experience, preferably in oxyhydrogen techniques
