Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Firefighting and Prevention Workers, you will lead and mentor a team of dedicated professionals. Your role will involve overseeing fire prevention inspections and educational programs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of Fire Prevention Inspectors.
  • Design educational materials and resources for community outreach.
  • Conduct building inspections and enforce adherence to fire safety regulations.
  • Analyze incidents for root causes and propose changes to protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
  • Liaise with other public safety agencies for coordinated responses.
  • Lead training sessions and workshops for team members.
  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the department.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Fire Science or related field preferred.
Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in fire prevention or related field with supervisory experience.
