Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Engage students in literature discussions and critical thinking activities.
  • Adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Incorporate technology and online resources into the curriculum.
  • Create individualized learning plans to address students' specific needs.
  • Organize extracurricular activities related to English language and literature.
  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences to communicate student progress.
  • Participate in curriculum development and improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and support new teachers within the department.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field
  • Master's degree in English Education is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in English language or literature
