Painter

Job Description

We are looking for skilled Painters who can prepare surfaces and apply paint in various settings, including residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and a passion for achieving high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and treat surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Select and mix colors to create beautiful finishes.
• Apply protective coatings to structures and surfaces to extend paint lifespan.
• Inspect work upon completion to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Document progress and report to the Painting Supervisor daily.
• Assist in ordering supplies and inventory management.
• Mentor junior painters on proper techniques and safety measures.
• Participate in training sessions on new painting techniques and materials.
• Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Develop strong relationships with customers by providing excellent service.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in painting techniques preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in high-end residential painting

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of different paint and coating types
• Experience with decorative painting techniques

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with high-end residential painting projects: Experience in high-end finishing work that requires superior craftsmanship.
