The Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver plays a critical role in our logistics team, responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods within city limits. This position requires strong communication skills and an ability to manage tight schedules while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive heavy vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver materials.
• Ensure timely delivery of packages and maintain quality standards.
• Monitor vehicle performance and report malfunctions as necessary.
• Work closely with dispatchers to optimize delivery routes.
• Provide customer service support by answering delivery-related inquiries.
• Manage paperwork related to deliveries, including delivery receipts.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicle at all times.
• Implement waste reduction and environmentally friendly practices in daily operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Preferred experience in the transportation or logistics industry.

Technical Skills

• Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge
• Electronic Logging Devices (ELD)

Certifications

• Hazmat Certification (if applicable)
