Actuarial Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Manager to oversee actuarial projects and provide expertise in risk assessment and financial planning. The successful candidate will lead a team of actuaries and collaborate with various departments to develop effective strategies for managing financial risks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and maintenance of actuarial models, tools, and methodologies.
• Provide guidance and support in analyzing complex data sets and making strategic recommendations.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the actuarial team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of actuarial practices with business objectives.
• Present findings, reports, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure project deadlines are met and deliverables are up to standard.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Professional actuarial certification (e.g. ASA, FSA) preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in actuarial roles, including experience in managing a team.
