Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Specialist to join our Austin team. The right candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, compliance, and planning strategies, ensuring our clients receive the best possible service. You will be responsible for processing tax returns, providing tax advice, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Draft and maintain tax planning documentation and correspondence.
• Train and mentor junior staff in tax preparation processes.
• Identify potential tax risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Assist with tax-related financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Provide exemplary customer service and maintain professional relationships.
• Support the preparation of year-end tax projections.
• Contribute to the development of internal tax policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in taxation and audit

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Accounting Software
• Regulatory Knowledge

Certifications

Languages
