Responsibilities
Oversee the performance of all mechanics and provide mentorship.
Ensure all repairs are completed to industry standards and specifications.
Manage shop workflow and improve efficiency through effective scheduling.
Participate in hiring and training new mechanics.
Evaluate parts and tools needed for service jobs.
Maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Conduct safety meetings and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Technical certification in automotive service preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in the automotive repair industry, including supervisory experience.
