Summer Counselor

Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic Summer Counselors to supervise and lead children aged 5-15 during our exhilarating overnight camp sessions. Ideal candidates should have previous experience working with children, a passion for outdoor activities, and a strong commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure campers are engaged and participating in scheduled activities.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to campers in stressful situations.
• Lead group discussions and promote teamwork through cooperative games.
• Collaborate with activity leaders to implement a diverse range of programs.
• Document camper attendance and behavior accurately.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Education or related field preferred

Experience

• Experience leading groups of children in an outdoor setting

Certifications

• Wilderness First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Languages
