Wire Coiler Machine Operator

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Wire Coiler Machine Operator to join our growing team! In this role, you will operate and maintain state-of-the-art wire coiling machines to produce top-notch wire products. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will be essential in ensuring production efficiency and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and set up wire coiling machines for production runs.
• Feed raw materials into the machines and monitor coiling processes.
• Ensure that coiled wires meet all quality and dimensional standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues with equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain workstations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in training new operators as needed.
• Document production data for tracking and quality assurance.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production goals.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Wire Coiler Machine Operator or similar role

Technical Skills

• Technical drawing interpretation
• Preventive maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with industry safety regulations: Understanding of OSHA guidelines and safety standards in manufacturing.
• Experience with CAD software: Knowledge of using CAD software for technical drawings.
