As a Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting goods across the country. You will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, inspecting your vehicle for safety and performance, and maintaining accurate logs for regulatory compliance. Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy and tractor-trailer trucks over long distances.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Keep a detailed log of all trips, including times, distances, and any delays.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with company policies.
• Communicate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
• Be attentive to road conditions and adjust driving as needed.
• Manage cargo to prevent damage and ensure safety during transport.
• Stay updated on regulations related to the trucking industry.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments at distribution centers.
• Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in long-haul trucking preferred
