Job Description

The Paint Supervisor will oversee all aspects of the paint department, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to high standards of quality. You will lead a team of skilled painters, manage inventory, and implement safety protocols to create a productive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the painting team to achieve production targets.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work quality and adherence to procedures.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of painting jobs to optimize resources.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
  • Assist in developing training programs for staff.
  • Oversee maintenance of painting equipment and facilities.
  • Analyze paint processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of paint usage and inventory.
  • Support production goals by streamlining painting operations.
  • Foster a positive team environment to promote collaboration.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certifications in management are a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years in a supervisory position in a paint shop environment
