Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Makeup Artist for theatrical and performance productions. The ideal candidate will have experience in various makeup techniques, including special effects, and a strong eye for aesthetics to enhance character portrayals.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with other departments to discuss vision and themes.
Conduct makeup tests for actors prior to performances.
Manage makeup supplies and ensure timely procurement of products.
Train junior makeup artists and interns in best practices.
Maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Requirements
Education
Associate's degree in Theater Arts or related field
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is a plus
Experience
5+ years of experience in makeup artistry for theater or film
