Job Description

The Metal Horizontal Boring Mill Operator will play a critical role in setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Program and operate CNC machines to achieve precise cuts and dimensions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during production.
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize production processes.
  • Ensure all products meet quality and specification standards.
  • Prepare and maintain machines for efficient operation.
  • Document production processes and maintain organization of data.
  • Assist in the training of new machine operators.
  • Implement best practices for machine safety and maintenance.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a trade school program in machining is an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a machining environment, preferably with horizontal boring mills
