Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriter to evaluate, assess, and underwrite insurance applications. The ideal candidate will analyze risk factors and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations while delivering exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze insurance applications for underwriting approval.
  • Identify and evaluate risks associated with insurance policies.
  • Work closely with agents and brokers to clarify information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Enhance company policies based on performance analytics and risk assessments.
  • Assist in training junior underwriters and providing mentorship.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or a related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience preferred

  • Underwriting Software
Soft Skills
  • Negotiation Skills
Certifications
  • Associate in Commercial Underwriting (ACU)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
