Job Description

As an MVA Reactor Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the MVA reactor, ensuring the safe and efficient production of monovinylacetylene. This role requires monitoring process parameters, performing routine inspections, and troubleshooting equipment issues to maintain high standards of quality and safety in our production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage reactor operations and control process parameters for optimal production.
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on reactor equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Train new staff on reactor operations and safety protocols.
  • Document incidences and operational changes as part of quality assurance.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reactor efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical degree in chemical engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in chemical production environments
