Operating Engineer - Road Machine Runner

Job Description

As a Road Machine Runner, you will play a pivotal role in operating road construction machinery. Your expertise will ensure the efficient preparation and maintenance of roads, highways, and other crucial infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate various road construction machines.
• Conduct pre-operation equipment inspections.
• Ensure compliance with job site safety regulations.
• Assist in planning and executing construction schedules.
• Communicate proactively with team members regarding project updates.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment usage.
• Report equipment malfunctions to management swiftly.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in heavy equipment operation is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of operation experience in heavy machinery, especially in construction.

Technical Skills

• GPS Technology Proficiency
• Blueprint Reading

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification
