Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for advancing key issues in the Assembly.
• Advocate for state funding and resources for local projects.
• Participate in state and national legislative conferences.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of legislation and propose necessary amendments.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• Master's degree in Public Policy or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of public service or legislative experience
