Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Waste Machine Tender to operate and maintain essential waste management equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient handling of waste materials while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation of waste processing equipment and optimize throughput.
• Conduct safety checks and follow OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Train new team members on equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Evaluate and report on machine performance and suggest improvements.
• Assist in the development of waste diversion strategies.
• Stay updated on new technologies in waste management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in waste management or manufacturing preferred

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Equipment operation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with industrial equipment: Hands-on experience operating and maintaining heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations: Understanding of laws and regulations governing waste disposal.
