Job Description

Join us as a School Psychologist, where your expertise will be utilized to create nurturing strategies for students facing mental health challenges. You will work closely with educators and families to create individualized plans, and your role will include individual and group counseling sessions, providing resources, and conducting workshops to promote mental health awareness within the school community.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose students' psychological and learning problems through testing and observation.
  • Create individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and specialists.
  • Provide psychoeducational assessments and feedback to staff and parents.
  • Conduct crisis intervention for students in need of immediate support.
  • Organize group counseling sessions to facilitate peer support.
  • Engage in ongoing evaluation and modification of counseling strategies based on student progress.
  • Utilize student data to assess the effectiveness of interventions and adjust accordingly.
  • Collaborate with special education teams to align services for exceptional learners.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in School Psychology or Counseling
Experience
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children is highly desired.
