Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations and a passion for helping clients comply while maximizing their tax benefits. You will work closely with our accountants to prepare and review tax returns, assist in tax planning, and stay updated on changes in tax legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file federal and state tax returns accurately and timely.
  • Assist clients with tax planning and compliance strategies.
  • Research tax regulations and provide advice based on current laws.
  • Review financial records to identify potential tax deductions.
  • Collaborate with accountants to assess tax implications of various transactions.
  • Conduct audits and resolve any discrepancies or tax issues.
  • Communicate with clients regarding their tax obligations and benefits.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Master's degree in Accounting preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience within taxation
