Job Description
As an Asphalt Paving Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing paving initiatives, working closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
Responsibilities
Direct asphalt paving operations and ensure project goals are met.
Monitor productivity and troubleshoot any challenges that arise on-site.
Establish and uphold standards for safety and environmental compliance.
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and safety measures.
Prepare and present project performance reports to upper management.
Foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration among all staff.
Participate in budgeting and forecasting for project expenses.
Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors for project materials.
Ensure adherence to project schedules and deliverables.
Mentor junior staff and provide career development opportunities.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
5-7 years of relevant experience in project management within the asphalt paving industry
