Construction Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Manager to oversee and lead construction projects in Houston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multiple construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating project schedules. You will be responsible for leading project teams, interacting with clients, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and finalization of construction projects according to deadlines and budget restrictions.
• Monitor construction progress and address any discrepancies or issues during the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure design specifications are met.
• Evaluate performance against key performance indicators and implement improvements as necessary.
• Conduct regular safety meetings with the project team to ensure safe working conditions.
• Ensure financial accountability for all project expenditures.
• Liaise with government and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with construction standards.
• Manage subcontractor performance to ensure project deliverables align with company standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of comprehensive experience in construction management or project supervision
