Job Description

We are seeking a Food Scientist and Technologist to join our quality assurance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our food products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections to guarantee the quality and safety of food products.
  • Evaluate food samples and maintain rigorous quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve processes.
  • Implement training programs for staff on quality and safety standards.
  • Engage with suppliers to assure compliance with food ingredient quality.
  • Monitor legislative changes and update procedures accordingly.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
  • Develop reports summarizing quality control initiatives and outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
  • Certifications in Quality Assurance or Food Safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) are preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in food quality control or a related field.
