Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Artificial Insemination Technician (AI Technician) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform artificial insemination procedures on various animal species while closely monitoring their reproductive health.
Responsibilities
Conduct artificial insemination on livestock and monitor post-procedure recovery.
Keep accurate records of insemination dates and animal reproductive status.
Work alongside animal scientists to assess the effectiveness of breeding programs.
Implement biosecurity measures to maintain herd health.
Assist in training junior staff on AI methods and animal handling.
Evaluate and troubleshoot problems related to breeding techniques.
Maintain seminar databases and collaborate in research initiatives.
Participate in community outreach to educate producers on reproductive technologies.
Requirements
Education
Associate's degree in Animal Science or related field
Certification in advanced AI techniques is a plus
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in artificial insemination for livestock.
