Job Description
We are in search of a meticulous Cloth Framer to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for framing and mounting artwork and textiles, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Cut and prepare matting and backing boards for framing projects.
- Secure artwork to backing using appropriate conservation techniques.
- Assemble frames and ensure they are visually appealing for exhibition.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of framing tools.
- Provide input on design elements to enhance the overall presentation of the artwork.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in framing or a related field
