Job Description

As a Briquetting Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of briquetting machines. Your role is crucial in producing high-quality briquettes from various materials while ensuring safety and efficiency in the production process.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on briquetting machines.
• Monitor the feed rate and adjust as necessary for consistent output.
• Ensure raw materials meet quality standards before use.
• Participate in cross-training initiatives within the production team.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of machine operation.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management of raw materials.
• Conduct end-of-shift evaluations and report any concerns.
• Foster a positive work environment based on teamwork.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in manufacturing technology preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in operating manufacturing machinery.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Safety awareness

Soft Skills

• Communication skills

Certifications

• CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
