Job Description

We are seeking motivated Machine Feeders and Offbearers to join our manufacturing team in Detroit. In this role, you will handle materials, ensure machines are supplied, and assist in maintaining production flow. A strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and calibration of machines.
• Provide feedback for operational enhancements.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness of equipment.
• Support training for new team members.
• Monitor workflow and adjust operations to meet production goals.
• Document and report production issues promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification in manufacturing or related field preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in machine feeding or material handling

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation
• Basic mechanical skills

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification
• Forklift Certification

Languages

• English: Conversational

Advantageous

• Background in quality assurance: Experience in quality control processes to ensure product consistency.
