Job Description

As a Restaurant Shift Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of our busy restaurant, ensuring that everything runs smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our guests. You will manage staff, resolve customer issues, and work closely with management to enhance the dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise restaurant staff and coordinate daily operations.
  • Manage guest relations and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Enforce restaurant policies and procedures for staff conduct.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Control inventory and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Manage safety inspections and compliance with health codes.
  • Assist in administrative tasks related to scheduling and payroll.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss performance metrics.
  • Foster a team-oriented atmosphere that promotes morale.
  • Address any equipment maintenance issues proactively.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in food service
