Job Description

As a Black Top Raker, you'll play a key role in our construction team by operating specialized equipment to ensure the smooth application of asphalt on roadways. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and quality of our road construction and maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

• Rake and level asphalt using specialized tools to ensure smooth surfaces.
• Remove debris and excess materials from work areas.
• Assist in preparing sites for asphalt paving and maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols during operations and equipment usage.
• Keep work area organized and clean.
• Identify issues with asphalt consistency and report accordingly.
• Train new team members on equipment operation and safety.
• Work on multiple job sites as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a road construction or maintenance setting is required.

Technical Skills

• Heavy Machinery Operation
• Safety Compliance

Certifications

• Certification in Operating Black Top Raker (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent
