Carriage Rider

Job Description

As a Carriage Rider, you will be responsible for driving horse-drawn carriages, transporting passengers around the scenic city of Charleston. Your role will ensure the safety and comfort of our guests while delivering engaging information about the city's rich history.

Responsibilities

• Operate horse-drawn carriages in accordance with local laws and guidelines.
• Ensure that carriages and horses are well-kept and ready for service.
• Prioritize passenger safety throughout the carriage ride experience.
• Share interesting facts and stories about Charleston’s history with passengers.
• Manage fare collection and maintain precise logs of transactions.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism.
• Follow all company policies for operations and safety.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks for carriages and horses.
• Help passengers as needed during the boarding process.
• Provide exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience as a carriage rider or in a similar role.
