We are on the lookout for a talented Mechanical Engineer to enhance our innovative team in Detroit, MI. You will be working on a wide range of engineering projects that require creative problem-solving and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will not only excel in designing and developing mechanical systems but also collaborate across teams to ensure successful project implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from concept through production.
• Translate technical specifications into functional designs.
• Perform feasibility studies for new product initiatives.
• Provide technical support during product testing and debugging.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Document design processes and maintain project records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• MATLAB
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Leadership

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with renewable energy systems: Hands-on experience with solar or wind energy projects.
