Job Description
We are looking for Health Informatics Specialists to integrate nursing science, information science, and computer science. The ideal candidates will ensure effective management and communication of clinical data to enhance nursing practice.
Responsibilities
Lead projects aimed at enhancing clinical documentation practices and systems.
Evaluate the effectiveness of current nursing informatics practices.
Support the integration of new technologies within nursing workflows.
Stay abreast of advancements in informatics to inform best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Informatics.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Information Systems
Experience
4+ years of experience in nursing informatics or a related role.
Technical Skills
Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS)
SQL or Python

Time Management
Certifications
ANCC Informatics Nursing Certification
Languages
English: Fluent
Advantageous
Knowledge of nursing research and quality improvement initiatives: Previous experience collaborating on quality improvement projects.
Understanding of informatics standards and regulations: Familiarity with standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
