Printing Press Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will operate and maintain printing machines, producing top-notch printed materials to meet our clients' diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the printing process from start to finish.
• Adjust machine settings for different print jobs.
• Handle the calibration of the printing equipment.
• Manage inventory of printing supplies.
• Lead mid-production quality inspections.
• Coordinate with the finishing department on complex jobs.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with team members.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in Printing Technology is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in commercial printing

Technical Skills

• Machine Troubleshooting
• Finishing Techniques

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Flexibility

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Print Production Workflow: Understanding the entire print production process from pre-press to post-press.
• Proficiency in Adobe Design Suite: Ability to use design software for creating print-ready files.
