We are seeking a skilled Sheet Rock Taper to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all drywall surfaces are smooth, even, and ready for painting. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing our project quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by removing debris and ensuring a smooth base.
• Expertly apply tape and joint compound to joints and seams.
• Texture and finish drywall to meet design specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the project.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise during the installation process.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Participate in site inspections and adhere to project timelines.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 1-2 years of experience as a Sheet Rock Taper, with a proven track record of high-quality work.

Technical Skills

• Drywall Finishing
• Blueprint Reading

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Technical school certification in drywall installation: Preferred certification indicating proficiency in drywall installation and finishing.
• Proficiency with drywall taping tools: Experience using tools such as Taping Knives, Trowels, and Sandpapers.
