Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Construction Carpenter's Helper to join our committed team. The successful candidate will assist skilled carpenters with tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials. This role requires a keen interest in construction and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support carpentry projects by gathering supplies and materials as needed.
• Assist in the installation of cabinetry and other wooden structures.
• Contribute to the preparation and clean-up of job sites.
• Follow instructions from the lead carpenter diligently.
• Participate in general site maintenance and organization.
• Ensure tools are used and put away properly after each task.
• Learn about different carpentry techniques and safety practices.
• Help to troubleshoot and resolve construction-related problems.
• Engage in effective communication with team members and supervisors.
• Uphold the company’s quality standards in all aspects of work.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant trade certifications are a plus

Experience

• 2-4 years of carpentry or construction experience preferred

• Framing and roofing

Languages

• English: Fluent
