Job Description

As a Retail Security Officer, you will be the frontline defender ensuring a safe shopping experience for our customers and staff. Your role involves vigilant monitoring of the store premises, preventing theft and crime, and responding swiftly to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer interactions for possible theft or suspicious behavior.
• Implement strategies to increase store security and minimize loss.
• Coordinate with the Loss Prevention team on investigations.
• Maintain a visible presence in the store to deter crime.
• Provide feedback to management regarding security issues.
• Ensure proper functioning of all security equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in retail security preferred.

Certifications

• First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain one)
• State security license (or ability to obtain one)
