Job Description

As a Relief Charge Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in managing nursing staff, maintaining patient care standards, and facilitating communication among the healthcare team. Your expertise will help create a cohesive environment focused on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor nursing staff and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitor ongoing patient care.
  • Address patient concerns and involve healthcare team members as necessary.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives within the nursing unit.
  • Provide training to nursing staff on new protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of care between shifts.
  • Respond to emergencies and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
