Job Description

As a Wire Drawing Machine Tender, you will be integral to our manufacturing operations, responsible for operating wire drawing equipment and ensuring the production of high-quality wire products. Your attention to detail will contribute to our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Train new employees on wire drawing machine operation.
• Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of machines.
• Work closely with quality control technicians to ensure product standards are met.
• Troubleshoot any issues with wire drawing machines promptly.
• Utilize measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers for quality checks.
• Maintain accurate records of production rates and machine adjustments.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
• Assist in implementing new technologies and upgrades in the production line.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• Experience with PLC programming is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Experience with hand and power tools

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with PLC programming: Understanding of programmable logic controllers and their application in manufacturing.
• Supervisory or team lead experience: Previous leadership roles in a manufacturing environment.
