Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for mechanical construction projects, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze project requirements and specifications to generate precise cost estimates.
  • Work with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate cost information.
  • Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
  • Develop and maintain an estimating database to improve future estimates.
  • Coordinate with sales and operations teams to refine cost strategies.
  • Support the development of project budgets and schedules in collaboration with project engineers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
Technical Skills
  • Estimating Software Expertise

Certifications
  • Certified Estimator (CE)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
Languages
