Job Description

As a Launch Operator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our launch systems. This includes overseeing all pre-launch and post-launch activities, working closely with engineers, and monitoring systems to guarantee mission success. You’ll play a crucial role in the aerospace industry, contributing to groundbreaking advancements in space exploration.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all pre-launch activities with the launch team effectively.
  • Monitor telemetry and ensure the launch is proceeding as planned.
  • Generate reports on launch performance and any discrepancies observed.
  • Confirm the condition of launch systems and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Support the continuous improvement of launch protocols.
  • Engage in professional development to enhance operational skills.
  • Lead safety assessments before and after launch operations.
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability within the team.
  • Aid in troubleshooting technical issues during launches.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient workspace for all launch preparations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in aerospace or launch operations
