Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering Technologist/Technician to support our engineering team in driving successful project outcomes. In this role, you'll assist in coordinating project activities, conducting essential research, and providing technical support to ensure project efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare and organize project documentation such as reports.
• Conduct market research for engineering proposals.
• Support engineering teams in project planning and execution.
• Calculate project cost estimates and manage resource allocations.
• Troubleshoot engineering challenges and assist in solutions.
• Participate in site visits for data collection.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols on all projects.
• Maintain organized and accurate project records.
• Assist with any other engineering tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with different departments to optimize project efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• MATLAB

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks: Hands-on experience with CAD software for design and simulations.
