Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our institution as the Student Services Vice President (Student Services VP). The role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of student services, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for students, and driving initiatives to enhance their overall experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of comprehensive student support initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in higher education.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity among staff and students.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to drive service improvements and process efficiencies.
  • Engage with students to gather feedback and create responsive programs.
  • Manage crisis situations effectively, ensuring student welfare and safety.
  • Promote and support diversity within student programs and services.
  • Develop partnerships with community organizations to broaden student support.
  • Advocate for student needs at the executive level of the institution.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership roles within student services, preferably in higher education
