Job Description

We're seeking a compassionate Family Therapist to join our vibrant team in Fresno. In this role, you'll offer therapeutic support to families and individuals facing emotional and mental health challenges. Your expertise will play a critical role in fostering healing and providing coping strategies tailored to each client’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Create safe spaces for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.
• Lead therapeutic interventions focusing on family systems.
• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and chemical dependency assessments.
• Collaborate with community resources to provide holistic care.
• Engage in supervision and peer reviews to enhance clinical skills.
• Assist in research projects aimed at improving therapeutic practices.
• Provide consultation services for schools or community organizations.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness through client feedback and progress metrics.
• Encourage client self-advocacy and empowerment.
• Stay current with mental health trends and legislative changes affecting service delivery in California.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or Social Work
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience providing therapy services
